Subprocessors
The third-party companies Knuckler AI uses to provide its service, what each one does, and where it processes data.
To run Knuckler AI we rely on a small number of service providers ("subprocessors"). Each is bound by a written agreement that protects personal data at least as well as our own commitments to customers. We review them before use and every year after.
We give customers at least 30 days' notice before adding or replacing a subprocessor, so they can object.
| Subprocessor | What they do | Personal data | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud | Hosting, database, file storage, backups, logging and text embeddings | All customer data and account data | United States |
| Anthropic | AI models that draft resumes, cover letters and job description analyses | Candidate profiles, job descriptions and generated documents | United States |
| Clerk | Sign-in and session management | Name, email address, sign-in and device details | United States |
| Stripe | Card payments for prepaid workspaces | Billing contact and payment details (collected by Stripe) | United States |
| Business contact data provider | Looks up business contact details when a user runs the contact finder | Person and company names in the query; business email and title in the result | United States |
| Email delivery provider | Delivers invitations, notifications and emails users send | Sender and recipient addresses, message content and attachments | United States |
Some integrations are chosen by the customer rather than by us. For example, when a user connects their own Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox to send email, Google or Microsoft acts under the customer's own agreement with them. Those providers are not our subprocessors.
